Typically, the KFL has between 10-12 teams in the league. Once the budget is done, including fields and umpires, a team fee is usually between $1900 and $2200. Each team is required to pay the league fee prior to the beginning of the season. How each team acquires the money is up to them. Most teams choose to raise the money through charging each player (typically in the $150 to $200 range) or through obtaining a sponsor. |
