Meetings are happening, schedules are being created, player contracts are being signed (that last one may not be factual).

The Kings are your 2025 KFL champions with their 3-game sweep of the Predators in the finals. With the Kings jumping out to a quick lead to start the game, as they did in the previous two wins, the Predators would continue to put runners on base but be unable to cash a run.
With that, the Kings walk away with their 5th championship in the last 7 years, including finals appearances in 8 of the last 9.
Congratulations to both teams on well-played games.
The finals have been set. The Kings, after getting by the Smoke, have advanced to face the Predators, who have been waiting for their opponent after eliminating the Aces last week.
Game one is set for tonight, 8pm at Budd Park.
Both semi-final game ones were played Thursday night and both of the lower-seeded teams came out on top.
The Smoke jumped out early and managed to hang on in their 6-4 win over the Kings. While the Predators managed a nine-run inning on their way to a 10-1 victory over the Aces.
Game two for both series are scheduled for Monday night. The Kings and Smoke at 7pm and the Aces and Predators at 9pm.
And for those interested, the u23, Mens and Masters Canadian championships are at Peter Hallman all week. Details on the website.
Both first round series came to a close last night. The Smoke came away with a 5-1 win over the Selects to take the series 2-0 and the Predators closed out their round one matchup with the Diamond Jaxx with a 6-3 win (including a bottom of 7, 2-out absolute theft of high fly ball that would have tied the game).
This all leads to the semi-finals, starting Thursday. The league-leading Kings will try to stop last years champions, the Smoke from a repeat appearance in the finals, and the Aces will take on the Predators. These two teams only had two points separate them in the year-end standings, with the Predators winning the regular season matchup, 2 games to 1.
